My role recipe writing emerged by default. I was posting pictures of my creations and was constantly asked for the recipe. This delighted me as I knew I was achieving one of my goals, to inspire people to allocate the time to cook and nourish themselves. I wanted to give people recipes that would give them vitality and energy, whilst making them feel good. I didn’t want my recipes to be too technical, my one governing factor is that they must be approachable by all. Moreover, I try, where possible to keep every recipe Gluten, Diary, Egg and Soy free, and for sweet treats I almost never used refined sugars.
Through this I found myself trialling various products by different brands. By default, I began using the same brands over and over as their products gave superior results for flavour, mouth feel and ease to work with.
I now endorse these brands and write recipes for them, which they can then share with their followers. I am also the Chef Writer for the Online Magazines: Healthylivinglondon.com and Bare Biology. I’ve teamed with brands such as Coconut Merchant, Coconut Collaborative Pip & Nut, Cherry Active, Aduna, L’Artisan Du Chocolat, Miso Tasty, Luchito Chillies and The Trinidad & Tobago Fine Chocolate Company, and write recipes for them using their products.
Brands I’ve written recipes for:
Every recipe I create is tested 3 times to ensure that when you read it, it’s easy to follow and it really does work! I’ve been let down too many times by inaccurate recipes and know how frustrating it is. Obviously it needs to be taken into account that different brands products and oven temperatures may vary.
