The goal of my personal project "Exploring Penang" was to create a collection of travel and street photography that captured the soul of Penang - a place where the simplicity of daily life meets the vibrancy of rich cultural traditions.
The challenge was to translate fleeting moments of emotion, heritage, and life into timeless visuals that evoke both nostalgia and joy, appealing to audiences who seek authentic travel experiences.
Creative Approach
Using my new Fuji camera as an extension of my own eyes, I embraced spontaneity to document the essence of Penang in real time. The visual narrative focused on blending the warmth of human connection with the vivid charm of the environment, ensuring each shot felt as if it held a piece of the island’s soul.
