Soft Foam Bananas, a childhood treasure, a light and sweet delight amongst their pink hued shrimp counterparts. It never occurred to me why bananas and shrimps would be sold together? But what was important were the candy tainted dreams, each bite stored in my memory to be resurrected in nostalgic moments like these.

So as an adult who enjoys a cocktail, this is my ode to those fluffy clouds of banana bliss, albeit spiked with rum and coffee, it still stirs up memories of those halcyon days gone by.
