Welcome to the all new Gourmetglow my Friend

It is said that beautiful sentences don’t need fancy words, just an honest heart and this is how I approach all aspects of Gourmetglow. It’s not about being showy, fancy, or luxe, it’s about creating from deep within.

With that, I am so proud to launch this new website, it’s taken months of hard slog by both me and the wonderful Fabio Bernardi and his beautiful wife Elisa, to bring this to fruition. When people ask if it’s a ‘Blog’, ‘Portfolio’ or ‘Recipe Hub’ I have no answer, it’s a cacophony of me, some imagery, some recipes, and some of my rambles, all parcelled in one place for your use.

 

It’s a means for me to share the knowledge I glean from life, be it from my science or chef background to my love of nature and foraging, and a means of connection between myself and you. You see, social media often gives a false impression of people, your identity is clouded by other’s preconceptions based purely on what you choose to post. For me, it was a wakeup call to find that I was deemed ‘moody & witchy’ when deep down I’m just a goofy country girl…

 

So, take from this what you will, rest assured that it will be constantly updated with recipes, photography hints & tips and of course my musings on all walks of life. I hope that aspects will resonate with you, and you find your own stories within, and if not, there is always delicious food and drinks to be had.
