Cambridge Truffle Snapper

A Bloody Mary has always been one of my stalwart favourite cocktails…. until I tried a Snapper. It has the ubiquitous tang, acidity, and unctuousness of a Bloody Mary but with the depth that only gin botanicals can bring. Throw in the luxury of fresh Truffle and oh my, Brunch Cocktails never tasted so good!

I use Cambridge Distillery Truffle Gin for this divine sip, the addition of Horseradish is the perfect pick me up.

Cambridge Truffle Snapper

It has the ubiquitous tang, acidity, and unctuousness of a Bloody Mary but with the depth that only gin botanicals can bring. Throw in the luxury of fresh Truffle and oh my, Brunch Cocktails never tasted so good!I use Cambridge Distillery Truffle Gin for this divine sip, the addition of Horseradish is the perfect pick me up.

Ingredients

• 50ml Cambridge Truffle Gin
• 1tsp Horseradish Sauce
• ½ Lime, juice
• Pinch Celery Salt & Cracked Black Pepper (plus extra for the rim)
• 3 Olives, halved.
• 2 Dashes Worcestershire Sauce
• 250ml Tomato Juice
• Ice to mix and serve.

Instructions

1. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip in a mixture of celery salt and black pepper. Set aside.
2. Add the gin, horseradish, lime juice, celery salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce and tomato juice to a mixing glass with 3 ice cubes. Mix clockwise for 30 seconds to chill.
3. Fill your glass with ice and halved olives. Strain the mixture over and garnish with olives, pickles, and vegetables. Serve immediately.
