Ingredients

• 500ml whole milk (or almond/oat milk for a vegan version)
• 2 tbsp dried meadowsweet
• 80g good quality white chocolate, chopped (use vegan if needed)
• ¼ tsp freshly grated nutmeg, plus more to serve
• 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract
• Pinch sea salt
• Ice cubes, to serve
• Edible dried flowers or meadowsweet blossoms
• White chocolate shavings or a fine grating of nutmeg

Instructions

1. In a small saucepan, gently heat the milk until steaming but not boiling. Remove from the heat, stir in the dried meadowsweet, cover, and let steep for 15–20 minutes.
2. Strain the milk through a fine mesh sieve or muslin to remove the meadowsweet. Return the infused milk to the pan.
3. Warm the milk gently again and add the white chocolate, stirring until fully melted and silky. Add the nutmeg, vanilla, and a tiny pinch of sea salt to enhance the flavours. Let cool to room temperature, then chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
4. Fill two glasses with ice cubes. Pour over the chilled meadowsweet white chocolate milk and garnish with a dusting of nutmeg, a few dried petals, or white chocolate shavings if desired.
