Butterscotch Schnaaps Hot Chocolate

There is something beguiling about the sweet, heady scent of butterscotch pitched against the warm fragrance of hot cocoa. A Dash of Rum & Orange bitters makes this sing of snowy days and rosy cheeks.

Ingredients

• 200ml Whole Milk
• 50ml Single Cream
• 25g Dark Chocolate, chopped finely
• 1 tbsp Light Muscovado Sugar
• Small Pinch Sea Salt Flakes
• 30ml Butterscotch Schnapps or Toffee Vodka
• 30ml Golden Rum
• Dash of Orange Bitters
• Whipped Cream & Chocolate Flakes to serve

Instructions

1. Add the milk, cream, chocolate and sugar to a small pan and heat over a medium heat until the chocolate has melted.
2. Remove from the heat and stir through the salt,schnapps and rum, Taste and add the bitters accordingly.
