Calendula Lavender Face Wash

Etymology: ‘dog days’ take their name from the Dog Star,Sirius, long associated with sultry weather in the northern hemisphere because it rises with the sun during the hottest days of summer.

Ingredients

• Calendula Flower Heads
• Lavender Heads
• Gram Flour
• Water

Instructions

1. Take your flower heads and either set them on a wire rack on a sunny windowsill to dry out for a few days (in a warm kitchen works best) or dry them in a dehydrator until crisp.
2. Remove the petals and take equal quantities of Calendula and Lavender.
3. Grind to a powder and mix with an equal quantity of Gram Flour.
4. Store in an airtight jar until ready to use then simply mix with enough water to make a paste. Rub over damp skin and rinse to leave calmed, refreshed skin.
